Here is some general information to help determine if our space is a good fit for your event.
We have 2400 square feet of space on the second floor of our bookstore right on the square. It features exposed brick, large windows with natural light, oak floors, private men's and women's restrooms, limited use elevator and 2 sets of stair access. We also offer a small catering kitchen for your use or the use of a licensed caterer. Our space will hold 96 people, seated or 120, seated and standing. Our venue provides a specific set of tables, chairs, and trash cans however, tablecloths and any other decor will need to be independently provided. We can make a vendor list available to you with contact information for caterers and tablecloth rental companies that we have worked with before.
Our rental rates are as follows:
Weekday rates (Monday - Thursday) $300 for a minimum 2 hours with a charge of $150 per hour for each additional hour.
Weekend rates (Friday - Sunday) $750 for a minimum of 5 hours with a charge of $200 per hour for each additional hour. On Fridays and Saturdays, we also offer a full day rental (10 am - 10 pm) for $2000.
*Please note that the rental time includes set up and clean up.
We charge a $100 cleaning fee and a $100 refundable damage deposit available to be refunded post event after the event coordinator confirms the space condition.
If you would like a dedicated hostess for the event, it is $25 per hour to have that available to you! We have a fantastic event staff that can help with your event/party needs.
Alcohol (beer and wine only) must be purchased through our in-store bar, Rough Draft, and the charge for a bar and bartender upstairs is $25/hour
Are you interested in taking videos or pictures of a special event (prom, headshots, commercials, etc.) in our gorgeous space?!
Upstairs - 1.5 hours for $150 with a $75 charge for each additional half hour
Downstairs in bookstore only - $75 for one half hour
