We're back again to chat a little about this once in a lifetime Holiday Season. My, how this shopping experience and planning with family looks different than last year. Who knew when we sat around the tree, opening presents with each other, complaining about that one loud Aunt or how nosey Grandma is that we would be all too grateful to see them again. Some of us have had sick family and friends or even lost some, but together is what we need to be, just not in the typical sense. Our hearts go out to you guys and ourselves as we do our best to band together in this crazy time, unprecedented to say the least. I never thought I would say that word so much in one year to be honest. I'd love to hear how you guys plan to make this Holiday Season special and still keep everyone as safe as possible. Zoom has been a great way to find some sort of togetherness, it's not the same, but it'll have to do for now.
I hope we can choose to make this time a reminder of the importance of life, of the family within our own walls, gratitude for each other, and a chance to find a love and intimacy of real importance. How can Story on the Square help you with that you ask? Well, puzzles galore, activity books, and tons of stocking stuffers. Of course I had to mention those things! In all seriousness though, we wish you the safest and most Happy Holiday possible. Love each other from a distance, take up letter writing again, what a beautiful lost art. We're here when you need us and can be a great one stop shop for those that don't want to peruse a ton of different public places. From bottles of wine, to men's beard kits, to the latest and greatest novel, we have what you need and will be happy to accomodate. Love to you all! -Joy
